Promotional products are the least glamorous part of what the commercial desk does and one of the most requested. Trade show giveaways, client gifts at Christmas, drinkware for a crew, branded pens that go in a welcome pack. It is rarely the biggest line on an order and it is often the one people leave to the last minute.

Why order it through a store
You can see a sample. That is the whole argument, and it matters more than it sounds.
The failure mode with promotional products is ordering five hundred of something from a photograph and discovering the finish is cheaper than it looked, or your logo does not sit well on the curve of it, or the colour is not your colour. Coming in, handling the item and sorting the artwork out in person removes most of that risk. Picking the order up rather than tracking a shipment from another time zone removes the rest.
Who it tends to be for
It works for a Fortune 500 company, a small business or a nonprofit equally well, because the useful part is the marketing job it does rather than the scale. A crew of eight getting branded jackets and a company of eight hundred doing a conference giveaway are the same conversation with a different number in it.
Bring the artwork with you
